Let the Rain Fall Down!

Finally....the rain came. And when rain comes, Ava goes. It was perfect timing as we came home from her second day of school and it allowed us to celebrate a good day for even just a little bit longer.

She had to rush to finish her snack. Once that was done, shoes were off and fun was had!She had a blast! I actually seize any chance when it rains (barring there is no lightning) to go outside and play. And Ava is no different. It was a favorite, favorite pasttime of mine when I was little. Something about getting soaked to the very last thread and playing as you please, even with no toys or tangible objects to keep your attention. Just you and the rain. Very liberating. Singing and dancing and running and playing. Loves!
